French artist Ewen Gur was born in a french-german family in Ambilly (Hautes-Savoie, France) and grew up in the surroundings of Tours (Indre-et-Loire, France). His artistic style is influenced by street arts and comics. He paints our urban world with a self-assured line and he is fascinated, as a child would be, by its gigantic verticality. But however critical his work might be, Ewen's approach stays an optimistic one.
